The Colin Ford Lecture 2024, Bodleian Library, Oxford
Despite the title, there will be no lecture by Colin Ford CBE – or anyone else! Instead this illuminating and entertaining free event will involve animated readings from correspondence between the renowned Victorian photographer Julia Margaret Cameron and other celebrities of the day. Of course this includes Alfred and Emily Tennyson. These excerpts will be voiced by a distinguished team (including actor Tim West and writer/broadcaster Lynne Truss).
Although tickets are free, as the Library’s capacity is limited, places should be reserved in advance.
